Dear colleagues and friends,

I have the honour to invite you to participate in the Second Edition of the International Congress on “Dermatological Care for All: a Basic Human Right”, organized by the “S. Gallicano Institute — Department of Preventive Medicine of Migration, Tourism and Tropical Dermatology” in collaboration with the “International Institute of Social, Medical, and Anthropological Sciences” IISMAS— Rome, and the newborn “Community Dermatology International” (CDI).
The Congress will be held in Ethiopia, November 6-9, 2007.
It will open in Addis Ababa, November 6 and will continue in Mekele, November 7-9.
This second edition will provide attendees with a valuable opportunity to present their experience, wisdom and opinions to their colleagues in a challenging and truly motivating audience. Moreover the clinical session in Mekele will offer participants the opportunity to experience first hand the reality of cutaneuous pathologies and infectious diseases in Africa.

Programme:

The aim of the Congress is to provide an update of the most important tropical diseases, cutaneous mycobacteriosis, HIV and STIs, ethnic dermatology, cosmetic and plastic dermatology. Moreover, in the attempt of meeting the cooperation needs of Developing Countries, participants will debate on the burning question “ How to provide dermatological care and medical training through the best sustainable low cost methodology?”
