FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT DRAFT

Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It’s my great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd edition of the International Congress “Dermatological Care for All: Common Diseases for Neglected People” which is organized by the National Institute for Health, Migration and Poverty (NIHMP), in collaboration with the Tigray Regional Health Bureau (THB), the University of Mekelle, the Italian Development Cooperation, the International Society of Dermatology (ISD), the International Institute of Social, Medical, and Anthropological Sciences (IISMAS), the San Camillo - Forlanini Hospital and the International Centre for Migration and Health (ICMH).
Why this third edition? Our mission is to implement and spread out in developing countries dermatological services and health training on the field and to promote access to quality skin care at the community level, through the best sustainable low cost technology. The past editions of the congress have met a large consensus of the international scientific community and we felt the urgency to continue the debate.
Moreover, social events will be an important part of this congress, a great chance to improve relationships among colleagues from all over the world, to share ideas and impressions in a friendly atmosphere, while sightseeing the breathtaking outskirts of Northern Ethiopia.
I would like to encourage participation of all professionals involved in health care and community interventions such as infectivologists, public health specialists, epidemiologists, sociologists, anthropologists, nurses, sharing our same goals.
